By order of the Governor, the November General Election shall be conducted primarily by mail ballots.
All registered voters will start receiving their vote by mail ballots some time around October 5th.
There will be a secure drop box placed in front of the 15th Street side of City Hall.
Voters who appear at a polling place and have not returned a voted mail-in ballot shall vote via a provisional ballot.
Accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities.
Voters may return a Vote by Mail ballot to the polling place between the hours of 6:00 AM and 8:00 pm on Election Day, November 3, 2020. A voter may return only the mail-in ballot they personally voted to the designated polling place.
Ballots may be mailed using the postage envelope provided with the ballot.
Every Vote by Mail ballot that is postmarked on or before November 3, 2020 and is received by November 10, 2020 by 8:00 PM shall be considered valid if it meets all statutory requirements.
New voter registration deadline is October 13, 2020.
