Atlantic City Electric is working to minimize power outages and to improve service in Brigantine.
ACE will be installing larger/ stronger poles along Brigantine Boulevard and parts of 38th Street and Harbor Beach Boulevard.
The new poles are 28 inches wide and over 75 feet tall.
County Officials, Atlantic City Electric, Mayor Simpson and members of Council met with impacted residents at a public meeting in July.
As a result of this meeting, the County is working with residents on the location of poles, length of the installation, and other important items.
ACE is still working with the County on the specific contract language for the project.
Freeholder Rich Dase has been in regular contact with City Officials and the Atlantic County Planner and Engineer and he will continue to keep Mayor Simpson and the residents of Brigantine updated as new information is available.
If you have any questions you can contact ACE at 609-625-8888 or ACBrigReliability@exeloncorp.com.
